I can’t tell you how much of my time used to be spent on customers who purchased a $5 or $10 service and immediately became a squeaky wheel. It’s ruthless, but effective.

I tried my best to not be tethered to my phone, emails, texting and more. Emails have backed up or even if you were checking email, you still go back through to make sure you didn’t miss anything or you now have to take action on your emails. Take business cards. Cluster your time.

Here's a tip: you talk to, email several people a day. I take my best content and turn it into workshops and allow people to play with and I hope learn from the ideas. I also can use the recording to make a cd and give to potential clients or current clients instead of a business card or brochure.

I get snail mail from credit card companies who could not possibly have my new mailing address unless they scammed it off some list. I’ve happily signed up for all kinds of email lists. I have a crazy-busy RSS feed. In the US it’s legal to sign someone up to your email list without asking their permission.
