I overheard that on Twitter the other day, and it’s a statement I disagree with. Every business owner should put all his energy into social media and making sure people like him. He buys courses in how to use social media because he thinks clients must like him. He spends lots of time on Twitter and Facebook.

I was having a conversation with Deb Ng of Freelance Writing Gigs on Twitter , and I smirked at her comment. Who said it was smart to give a one-hour free seminar, speech or workshop almost every single day? They have a budget. We just have to factor in a superannuation plan when we write up our business plans and budgets.
