Do you ever get a meeting request and an agenda has not been provided, or if it is a teleconference the call-in details have not been given or the boardroom hasnt been booked for an internal meeting? When booking meetings ownership of the meeting has to be established. Is the boardroom booked? Whose responsibility is it anyway?

It works well when it is a co-worker who sits closest to you, but depending on how your office is set up that might not be possible. If it is a planned time off then you can meet with your buddy and give them any instructions or information they will need to handle in your absence and any contact names and numbers. Excellent material!

He will have a quick conversation with a staff member and set up a meeting, but not tell me anything about it. That makes it difficult when I am supposed to be organizing his calendar, but since I am responsible to organize his time and in spite of my frustration, I have to make it work. 411 Look Up 411.ca Excellent material!

I take the bus to work and I often see people getting on a busy bus and then going through their backpack or purse looking for their bus tickets and holding up the line. They had enough time as they saw the bus approaching, they know they will need it, but time and time again, they are searching for it. no tickets.

Another time I was trying to find a full-serve gas station to fill up, but there was nothing to be found. It was expensive,but when I brought it home I had to do all the work to get it up and running. He loved it and I believe ended up doing his job better because of it. Recently, I bought a new laptop.

What dates and times does he or she have available (keeping in mind time zones for away meetings)? Secure the date and time in his or her calendar, taking into consideration travel time if outside the office. Follow up with the meeting organizer to request agenda and/or meeting materials, pre-reading, etc.

By using the template I was able to accomplish everything with enough time to change, touch up my make up and hair and then off to the next event. His job is all about thinking and strategizing so a task that is not related to work, seems like time out because it is not what he normally does week to week. 411 Look Up 411.ca

The topic was on personal branding and they were making recommendations to executives on how to polish up their image. How many times I have booked a meeting thinking the day was free, only to notice later that an all-day event was put in unnoticed at the top. I guess he thought I needed the help. Another one I never use.

It is frustrating to the rest of the team because they are trying to meet certain goals and when there is a problem it takes time away from the manager who has to deal with it, but also the whole team as they see the time ticking and production at a standstill. She would spend more time complaining about it and whining than cleaning.

I was at the cottage with a friend and she was cranky and started to get wound up about something to do with her husband. By the end of the call her husband had caught her crankiness and it ended up with them both being angry. She ended up calling her husband back and apologizing for her bad mood. They had booked the space for November 8th. I called them and thankfully they had space available on the date I needed and we were able to amend the contract, but imagine if I hadnt noticed and we showed up on the 7th? One time we had to cancel at the last minute, but we were a few days past the cancellation date.
