Do you ever get a meeting request and an agenda has not been provided, or if it is a teleconference the call-in details have not been given or the boardroom hasnt been booked for an internal meeting? When booking meetings ownership of the meeting has to be established. Is the boardroom booked? Whose responsibility is it anyway?

I logged onto my computer last week and put in my network password, then to open my Outlook account I had to put another password in for that. I purchased a small address book in which I can keep the website address along with my user name and/or password for each particular site. Lets enjoy our day together.©

I have been on some interactive sites where assistants ask questions and get answers and I learn from them as I have some of the same questions. Lunch n learns are also a good way to learn from each other. Administrative newsletters or bulletin boards where you can post tips or suggestions is a good way to learn.

This is where an assistant network can come in handy. I often reach out to my network to get answers to problems that come up at the office or just to lend a sympathetic ear. I had a big learning curve going into it and I didnt know any of the other assistants so I felt all alone with my challenges. Excellent material!
