Set clear goals: Define what you want or need to do. Setting clear goals allows you to see the end and set the steps toward reaching the goal. You can set you goals and know the steps to reach those goals, but if you don’t know where to begin, you’re going to build stress.

I stand back, and begin moving notes until the ideas start flowing into easy categories: Blog, Projects, Home, Family, Health - etc. Use the notebook for everything you want to keep track of: to do lists, grocery lists, client meetings, phone calls, dreams and goals. Choose a simple, no frills style that is easy to handle.
