Stapler and staples – Always always get the best stapler your company can afford and use the same brand staples as the stapler. I know this sounds silly but how frustrating is it when you can’t staple a few bits of paper together… trust me it will save you so much time having a decent stapler!

Despite iPads, 3D television, and the wonders of Skype , one of technology’s greatest wonders, in my own opinion, is the cell phone. It seems in a matter of 10 years (10 years ago I had my first Nokia bar phone), we have gone from owning ‘mobile telephones’ to ‘mobile do-everything devices’.

I will go back and forth to it; check my emails, answer a phone call, make a coffee or just generally procrastinate. I actually think this is a blog post in its own right but I think it is worth mentioning now. I’ve written a blog post about that recently. Set deadlines for completing each task. I hated it.

Do you feel that you could find better buys, not just by going to the different stores such as Staples or Grand & Toy , but online as well? There are some companies that, unfortunately, don’t allow for purchases such as stationary , fax machines , toner , etc.

I applied to be a EA to the CEO of a big company in my country. You are their to conform and fit into the dept and company as the newest member. They also want to make a quick phone call and if they were to use my phone I can’t grab other lines if they were to ring. They have helped me so much but I still have concerns.
