As I was doing research for other articles on this blog I came across the International Association of Administrative Professionals' website ("IAAP") and was reminded of the advantages of being part of a professional organization. Try the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP); this organization also has certification opportunities that are great resume enhancements. Get involved.

Polish up the ol resume It is all right to send your resume out and see what kind of response you get. In this new age of not doing anything more than a quick spell check on documents, make sure you do not have any spelling mistakes in your resume. Make sure your resume is up to scratch: Your resume should list your skills, your experience in working as a virtual assistant, and any other capabilities that you think potential employers are looking for. Over 250 articles later and here I am still blogging. I would recommend putting your blogspot on your resume under "Accomplishments" with a brief description of what your blog is about. This August will be my one-year anniversary of starting my blog. It is hard to believe it has been a year already. See you on the blog.

Do you ever get a meeting request and an agenda has not been provided, or if it is a teleconference the call-in details have not been given or the boardroom hasnt been booked for an internal meeting? Whose responsibility is it anyway? When booking meetings ownership of the meeting has to be established. Excellent material! 411 Look Up 411.ca
