By spring 2022, this figure rose to 9%. As the COVID-19 pandemic pushed businesses to embrace telecommuting, many were surprised by the resulting boost in productivity. FlexJobs’ survey of more than 2,100 employees who worked from home during the pandemic found that 51% reported being more productive while working remotely. 95% reported that productivity was higher or the same while working remotely. 65% of remote workers report working more hours than they had while working in the office.
