When we shine a light on our fears and realize the actual cost of inaction, we loosen the grip fear has on our psyche. As my family learned in 2016 when we all climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, it is by stretching our limits that we can expand them. But at what cost? It was a huge undertaking.

Low on traditional options, Leeuw discovered Neuroworx , a low-cost therapy center in Utah founded by a former quadriplegic, that allowed him to recuperate at his own pace for a tiny fraction of what traditional care would have cost.
