With us, travel is always interesting. Of course, the investment in travel goes well beyond money. I am not a flexible person.

I know I always say I can’t believe how the time flies but I seriously can’t believe how quickly 2013 past us by! Anyway here we are in 2014 and I hope that everyone is settling back into work after the Christmas and New Year break. It was quick wasn’t it!? I’m not just getting old! PA Networking.

The restaurants were packed, the bars were swinging; unfortunately the shops were closed but as glamorous as the residents strolling along the sidewalk. I made my way back onto King Street having received a restaurant recommendation from the concierge. They certainly do know how to create a perfectly relaxed atmosphere.

Cantine Parisienne, The hotel’s restaurant, offers guests a fusion of modern French and American cuisine. Guests are spoilt for choice as far as dining options are concerned as there are loads of restaurants and cafes nearby. The designers had obviously thought about how to make the best use of the space.

The small touches really do make a difference and The Hay Adams certainly know how to look after their guests. The hotel has everything that a business traveller requires with access to a 24 hour business centre and faultless wifi throughout the building. Advertised minimum rate per night $319 (January 2014). .

Meeting other assistants who work near by, who share the same suppliers, hotels, restaurants etc. This then took me into the arena of public speaking and gave me the opportunity to be on the PA panel at ACES 2014. notes about work (travel arrangements and preferences for my charges, “rules” I have for each of them, team notes, etc.).
