Having booked business travel to Houston more times than I can actually remember I am very aware of how little time executives have when they arrive in Houston. Most business travellers attend their meetings and leave so I always try to book my executives into a hotel that allows them to see at least a little bit of Houston.

I have booked hundreds of business trips to Houston over the years (for the oil and gas industry it is the centre of the universe) so I was really excited to see the city for the first time myself. I would recommend booking one of the Hotel Sorella suites if your boss is staying for longer than a week in Houston.

On a positive note, the bed was really big and comfortable with a good duvet that kept me warm during the night.

To be fair I used to travel to university from St Pancras back in the early 2000′s and it was still a little rough around the edges but since then the area between two of London’s busiest train stations has changed completely.
