Last week I wrote about performance reviews and although I’m still not sure that the majority of performance reviews are all that helpful, especially for assistants. NeuYear Calendar Still my analog calendar of choice. It’s taken my game to a whole new level, and anyone who gives the NeuYear Calendar a try will see that having a bird’s eye view of their year really is a game-changer. Mike Rohde has crafted some great books , worthy of any bookshelf.

It’s amazing how quickly the calendar year has flown by. At the end of each calendar year, I like to look back and see where I’ve been and what I’ve done. But for the purposes of this post, I’ve scanned them to get a sense of my calendar year in review. My daughter’s story was published in a book ! I turned 41.

Your calendar is stacked with meetings. When stretched for time, most people tend to drop thinking and planning in their calendar to complete as many tasks as possible. In 2014, a Harvard research team, led by Giada Di Stefano tackled this question. I consistently guard time in my calendar for thinking, planning and refreshing.
