I was really excited about my stay at The Lowell because I had heard great things about the hotel – particularly from Goop, Gwentyh Paltrow’s blog. As it was Sunday the restaurant was very busy catering for the New York Sunday brunch crowd. Advertised minimum rate is $595 per room (April 2014). .

The very first sentence of this blog post is going to be dedicated to my new love – Wentworth Mansion. The Mansion does have a restaurant on site called Circa 1886. After a thoroughly decent night sleep I made my way to breakfast which was served in the restaurant, located in the mansion’s garden.

On days where I’ve been too knackered after work to cook, for lunch the next day, I’d pop to one of many great restaurants near the office. There are some fab vietnamese restaurants – I’m partial to a kimchi banh mi. So, in a way, I could look at 2014 as my career highlight for growth.
