The two highlights have to be travelling to the Group’s operations in Nigeria and experiencing a completely different culture, and being solely responsible for running the Group’s annual conference in Athens for its Senior Management. Since 2011, I have watched it grow from a small group of 50, to nearly 500 members in 2015.

One of the reasons I started Practically Perfect PA back in 2011 was because I wanted to create an online community for assistants. I recently spoke at the Assist Conference in September 2015, and at Skyscanner’s Company Presentation in December to around 300 people. Sherien : The only advice I would give is to stay current.

Back in 2011, I took the time to learn new techniques in Microsoft Excel through a course. The methods I learned there have gave me greater confidence and speed (i.e. As Tim Ferriss explains in his book The Four Hour Body (and his presentation at the NEXT Conference ) , the minimum effective dose comes to us from the health field.
