I am not a freelancer as such but I do work from home and I’ve training my boss and colleagues to stop arranging meetings after 4pm (still working on that one), I’ve been forcing myself to step away from the keyboard and to stop checking work emails after hours. You have plenty of time left for that client. Those days are better.

Now, my theory is that King didn’t get to write pretty darn good stuff every single time he sat down at the table just because he was genetically gifted with brilliance. It would be much easier to keyboard it but I know it wouldn’t have the same effect as writing it by hand. He knows how to declutter. I get hand cramps!
