I’ve known about James’ true gender for some time, and we’ve had a lot of discussions about whether, in today’s day and age, such a choice is really necessary to command respect in the workplace. It never really occurred to me that I shouldn’t be treated equally and paid equally in the workplace because I’m a woman. Makes sense.
