About a year ago, I took up day hiking , spending a Saturday morning here and there going up to a mountaintop and back, mostly safe and short hikes on heavily traveled trails. The lodge has a restaurant with a nice outside patio overlooking a river. Vincent runs ultramarathons to escape it.
