My aunt had recently died and I had a small inheritance that we were going to invest in finding another line of work for my husband (Chef/Restaurant Mgr.). That was in 2001. I knew I didn’t want to return to corporate life and the acquiring company didn’t purchase any of my office assets or my talents.
