If you don't qualify for insurance on your own or lose your job - there is COBRA, your work's insurance plan, or your spouse's. While you are at it, do as much automatic or online bill pay as you can - rent, phone bill, etc. Do a great job.

I do know that the more experienced an EA is the PERCEPTION is they are less hungry, less flexible, less tech savvy, or less open to learning than new EAs who are trying to get their foot in the door, prove their worth, and are new to the EA role.
