It was such fun for me to be back at IAAP's annual convention. I especially enjoyed time meeting new people, many of whom were very interested in learning more about Office Dynamics and what we offer in terms of administrative assistant training. I wrote an article called Getting To Yes that outlines the steps you need to take to persuade your executive to support your training. It can be a very hard sell.

After reading everyone's comments on Jeff Keller's blog about confronting fear and finding so many of us are afraid of public speaking I decided to do a video blog - face-to-face with all of you so to speak. Both assistants attended different parts of the tour, one Chicago, the other Cincinnati yet they are part of the same IAAP chapter. I'm attaching a copy of the October newsletter for the Madison (Wisconsin) chapter of IAAP. It would be hilarious to watch myself on video sometime!). Tags: Admin Assistant Training.
