What is your favorite magazine subscription? I have many magazine subscriptions. I enjoy reading OfficePro , Executive Secretary , Success , and O, The Oprah Magazine. The association I have participated in the longest is the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). 13 to help build a new City.

As I was doing research for other articles on this blog I came across the International Association of Administrative Professionals' website ("IAAP") and was reminded of the advantages of being part of a professional organization. I was previously a member of IAAP when I was at another firm.

Below are some things that I have found helpful to build my network: Join a professional association such as the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). IAAP is a group of assistants who get together and encourage each other in our jobs and careers. Read professional magazines when you get the opportunity.
