For me, seasonal overwhelm is a combination of my granddaughter’s soccer practices and games, seasonal activities like apple picking and pumpkin carving parties, increased client projects, and trying to plan for the fast-approaching holiday season. Plus, the end of the fiscal year coincides with the holiday season.

I would ask how long the temp status was for, and negotiate a deal that makes sense for you to not have sick days, paid holidays, benefits, etc. The spouse who hired me would mentor me heavily so I’d be successful; this was paramount. But to me the length of the temp status wouldn’t change my answer most likely, and here’s why.
