When the results were in, I met with the person who administered it and one of the things it showed, other than the fact that I ranked very high in administration, was that I work best on short-term projects where I can see the end in sight. I will have all kinds of energy to work on a project if I know it is ending at one point.

I use hanging file folders labelled from January through to December. My boss will give me items that he wants brought forward on certain dates and I just put it in the appropriate month he wants it with a note on it with the date, and sometimes time, he needs it by and it is as simple as that. Otherwise, I never remember to check it.

I am part of the project management office at my company and I hear the term roadblocks all the time. This article is extremely well written, and I have already printed a hardcopy, which I am going to add to my file. Hi Patricia: What an encouraging message this is.
