Digital records management isn’t something we spend time thinking about until we need to find a file. We spend far too much time searching, wondering where we would have thought to save the file when we were working in it. I personally despise wasting time looking for files. That brings us to the first tip.

These are the basics in formatting movies in PowerPoint 2007. In Normal view, click the slide to which you want to add a movie or animated GIF file. Under File Name, do one of the following: To rename one or more slide files, click the existing file name, and then type a new name. To keep the default slide file names, proceed to step 5. Under Description, click and type a description of the slide file. Very easy once you get the hang of it.

In the task pane on the right side of the PowerPoint 2007 screen, enter one or more keywords to search for sound clips. Click on the sound file icon on the slide.
