The recent downturn has made companies think twice about who they are dealing with and has made them potentially more likely to switch suppliers. Look at researching prospects, making initial contact, presenting the product and closing the deal. It also sets a great example with the sales team. Perhaps to your firm?

I would add something to number 4: set an example with work-ethic, your attitude and how you communicate ie.
