One of my managers wanted me to use our sales tracking software to create the sales report for a particular product. They ask you to create subtotals for the latest sales report, but want you to only send them the revised spreadsheet showing the subtotal rows. I recently ran into this problem as well.

When you try to save a document as a template, make sure that you click on the drop down arrow in the Microsoft Office software that you are using and select template, when using the "Save-As" command. Just make sure to protect the documents, spreadsheets, etc. so that they dont get changed.

Otherwise you will start to fall behind and clients/staff members will start asking whats going on. Then place each task into the corresponding day that you need to complete the task by.
