Depending on where you are in the world, working on different time zones to your clients can be tricky but with plenty of planning and preparation in the lead up to your trip, your service needn’t be compromised. This may sound obvious but check time zones before you go to ensure you operate as you would from home.

Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). I use the website all the time so it is helpful having the app on my phone. Meetup Time: £0.69.

If I’m honest, I am really just lost without them (sometimes I am literally lost without them thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me around!). Although I still do print everything off this is a great app to have on your phone so you can check details on the go. Meetup Time Lite: Free. Weatherbug: Free. CardMunch: Free.

There were charges for audio visual equipment that we never ordered. There is value in getting to know people, even if it is just over email or the phone. When I reviewed the invoice I noticed there was a guest on our bill who wasnt in our party so that amount got taken off. It could save your company some money. 411 Look Up 411.ca

I was taken on a tour of the premises and they pointed out the office equipment I would need to use and introduced me to everyone we met. I basically know how to answer the phones and take messages. This particular law firm had approximately 150 people in the office. I just started at a law firm this week. I have not had much guidance.

Get knowledgeable on how to work the various office equipment. I can honestly say that even though it was a hard time to go through, I ended up getting a much better job and a better opportunity and can look back on it as a good learning experience. My former boss gave me an excellent reference on paper and by phone.
