I was wondering if you could give me the name of the temp agency you worked with. The best strategy is to sign up with every single temp agency in town. Thanks so much in advance!"

I was out of work, temping here and there for a year. There are also sites for networking to keep your name out there. A good way to network in person is through professional associations. Being a member is not only a great place for networking, but for mentoring and learning of jobs in your area.

Concomitantly, over the last three years I've served as a committee member and conference organizer with an educational nonprofit. Well, the educational field is dismal and I've given up on the teaching career. Temp, volunteer, apply for PT work and list that as your present role.

Sign up with the major job hunting sites with your resume and profile, join social network sites geared towards work, and meet with every temp agency in town just to be safe.
