I work at a travel and event planning agency. Unlike catering or gifts where the EA has a lot of decision-making power, travel is usually dictated by the powers that be. For event planning needs, the EA, admin assts, HR, and Facilties and Operations usually chip in and help. These are the two latest questions I answered.

The important thing I learned is, he’s an event planner, he hosts parties, he meets lots of people, and to him, the fact that I sent a thank you card said something about me. If the event planner hadn’t introduced himself and if I didn’t send him a thank you card, I would have never delivered papers to the CEO. We really like her.”
