I worked as an Investment Advisor’s Assistant, completed my CSC (Canadian Securities Course), but soon after, I realized that this wasn’t really for me. We strive for an “open door” policy, but of course, there are times when the managers hold meetings or make phone calls and have their door closed.

Money, of course, is important, but what about the customer? They most likely will stop using your product/service, but also, they would end up telling their friends. It’s a reminder to all of us that depending on one system alone works fine, right up until the time that it doesn’t. Of course, the inverse also works. You can easily set up a Gmail account to forward copies of all messages to other accounts for backup purposes. I even do this with my Gmail accounts.

This, of course, is heaven to some, but like me, cant stand being bored. Thats how I ended up getting my current job. You should see my follow-up list. I usually follow up ever 3 business days on outstanding items. Having nothing to do is such a time waster. My suggestion to this is to be persistent. Its quite large.

If there are some negative feedback, let them go, it builds conversations (of course take out the spam) 2. The bloggers photo is important. Post regularly.

Telemarketing is my number one annoyance in advertising and as soon as I answer the phone and get that few seconds of dead air, that is my queue to hang up. Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. Going, going, gone.
