As the assistant wanting to get approval, you would fill in the Goal/Learning Objectives column and then present that to your executive and show the benefits of each. It goes back to what I said about your career goals and aspirations. You can get the designations that Brenda mentioned from IAAP which are the CAP and OM.

I was surprised at how easy it was for me to talk about my goals and thoughts about what I was looking for in a career. I have gained confidence in what I do from reading and writing about it. Yes, blogging has helped me to see that I have a lot to share in my profession and it has given me confidence to go and try for more.
