It's obvious that e-mail is here to stay, yet you say few companies really educate workers about how and why to use it. We can’t leave the training up to companies alone. Then parents can educate them specifically about what to avoid and what to do. Is that the only reason that e-mail has gotten so out of control?

Some examples would be managing a company website, creating, editing and writing a company newsletter or creating promotional materials, invitations and brochures for marketing events. They each took the initiative to get appropriate training and education to better equip them in the areas they were interested in.

After reading the article on the "remote clicker", which is what I used to call it, I asked John in the cubicle beside me. When I looked on Google different companies were calling it different things, but PowerPoint Remote or Presentation Remote does help. We looked in a catalogue and found it. Thanks Patty.

When he is in the office it is good, at least I have company. My company is moving to a new space with a more open concept and I am looking forward to it. My opinions are based on experience, education, trial and error and blunders and bloopers made throughout my life and career. 5, 2010 at 12 p.m.
