My dad has always enjoyed days spent swimming in the ocean, followed by hearty dinners at nice restaurants. That night we went to the indoor pool, ate an early dinner at the lobby restaurant and piled into the big hotel beds to watch TV. I was 14 and just glad to be getting out of town. At least my 10-year-old brother was happy.
