I didn’t purchase it until Sprint of 2009. I also have many contacts and calendar items. What’s worse is that as the keyboard is getting more use, it’s not as sensitive. I also keep a detailed calendar with anywhere from 1500 to 2000 events scheduled. I kick myself for discounting this lag.

Once a date is finalized I put it in my bosss calendar and confirm the meeting with the other participants. Another benefit to writing it down is if your boss asks you to cancel it or to quickly tell you when the meeting is, you can look at the sheet rather than trying to search for it in your calendar. Minute taking made easier.

So why do companies continue to do it? Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. To me this shows me the company has not done their homework on updating their contacts and are not considering the environment.

I purchased a small address book in which I can keep the website address along with my user name and/or password for each particular site. I leave an excel sheet on the company Server that only my IP & station login can Access and keep it updated. Let your fingers do the walking: Quick keyboard sh. Back to the drawing board.

The sad part of this is that I had to Hard Reset the device the first time the day I purchased it since I had misspelled my name in my MotoBlur registration. Typing addresses is easy with both the on-screen and the slide-out keyboard. As I mentioned earlier though, you don’t get your applications back.
