Now, take a look at your business card, brochures or other social media profiles.    The other day I was in a meeting and saw a card that had the back covered with 2 different QR codes and the front had a few different urls. .    Some would say that having a Google profile is all that you need.

Using e-mail is a great tool, especially if you are trying to cut down on company costs via international phone calls and postage fees. Another point I would like to stress is to archive your e-mails for a certain period of time that either you or your company feels would be appropriate. At least you will have proof of it.

That makes sense, but can this system be applied to other information, like monthly bills, tax returns, staff, legal issues, normal company information? B eing able to retrieve the data is more important than an organized alphabetized file drawer. I remember going to a walk-in clinic (doctors office) for an ailment at the time.

Immediately give this paper to someone else, whether this person is someone in your company, a client, vendor or someone else you outsource to. Combine that with a good filing system and a search tool like Google Desktop and I can quickly find previously saved material. DELEGATE IT. This is the greatest one of them all.

Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). This is great if your company doesn’t have many video conference calls or only have one room with video conference kit.
