Start brushing up and training on weak areas with PowerPoint, Photoshop, business writing, or anything you can think of. Are there favorites of anything your boss likes - their coffee, restaurants, cafeteria lunch food, etc? I block out time on my calendar when I know I will have to work overtime because it's budget season.
