Tech glitches happen all the time and 2 people controlling one person's calendar is not the easiest thing. If you are out sick, a temp will have to sub for you. Be mindful of your boss' preferences, perks, and style of working, communicating, and handling stress, conflict, bad news, good news, etc. Do they know the vm passwords?

I was stressed out from the pace of work and also the length of a couple of special projects with a long lead time. We also get a mini break when our boss is traveling as the stress level is generally lower and we can catch up on our workload. A week or two ago, it was one of those weeks where my brain just felt tired.
