Interview Attire Dilemmas (Again)

A long time ago I blogged about what to wear since I was interviewing for non-corporate roles or companies. What throws me off more is when I interview for senior management at a very atypical company. As you may know, my standard interview outfit for being a CEO’s assistant is an all black suit with pointy heels in black.

For my entire career I've been dressing up the same way for a job interview in Hollywood. When I was interviewing to work for a Chairman/CEO as his office Executive Hostess where I greeted clients, served beverages, and was in charge of catering for office functions, I was told what to wear by the girl I was replacing.
