I did this by becoming a member of IAAP. My self-esteem grew by leaps and bounds as I became more active in IAAP. For example, “My assistant, Joanne, will be following up with you to schedule that meeting.”. Before you can change the executive’s perspective of your role, you must first change your own perspective.
