It is never too late to add a new string to your bow and social media seems to be the way forward for the future Assistant. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Deer utilized social media , particularly Instagram , to engage customers. After a major activewear retailer copied multiple designs in 2015, K-DEER fans started the hashtag #IStandWithKDEER to express their support for K-DEER and call for a boycott, which ultimately led the brand to pull the items.

Meeting other assistants who work near by, who share the same suppliers, hotels, restaurants etc. I recently spoke at the Assist Conference in September 2015, and at Skyscanner’s Company Presentation in December to around 300 people. It is brilliant! Sherien : The only advice I would give is to stay current.

As you guys can imagine with two weeks to go to the Virtual Summit I am literally up to my head in videos, online event technology, marketing and social media. Richard Newman , Director of BodyTalk – Richard spoke at our very first Assist Conference back in 2015 and he was, without doubt, an absolute hit.
