We held our first Assist Travel conference and exhibition on Friday 25th September at the Hilton Bankside and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the day. As with all of our Assist Events we like to make sure that it is a little different and I loved our travel themed registration desk. I hope those that came along enjoyed it too.

There was less sharing of information, silos in place and limited collaboration. Over time I managed to add several hotels to our Globally Approved Travel Program, which enabled all global staff to benefit from discounted rates and also obtained supplier discounts for our intranet company benefits portal.

Meeting other assistants who work near by, who share the same suppliers, hotels, restaurants etc. I recently spoke at the Assist Conference in September 2015, and at Skyscanner’s Company Presentation in December to around 300 people. It is brilliant! Amy : I am a OneNote advocate! I have everything in my OneNote.
