Last Friday we held our third Assist Conference at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. I can’t quite believe I’m saying our third conference as we have been on quite the journey since our first conference. The theme of this year’s conference was The Assistant Toolkit.

We held our first Assist Travel conference and exhibition on Friday 25th September at the Hilton Bankside and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The hotel itself was not open to guests and you could literally smell the fresh paint in the conference space. As you can imagine I was really excited to get the conference started.

Well, I have finally recuperated from hosting our big conference. Our event this year was much bigger (in numbers) than 2015 and we were in a much larger convention space area than ever in the history of Office Dynamics so it took a tremendous amount of mental and physical energy on my part for 4 full days and nights. Adult Learning Retention Statistics: Lecture – 5%. We use creative props to reinforce learning. I use a hands-on, experiential approach vs. lecture.
