Despite my passion for social media I haven’t always been adept at it and was a twitter virgin until The Assist Conference 2015. It is never too late to add a new string to your bow and social media seems to be the way forward for the future Assistant. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Meeting other assistants who work near by, who share the same suppliers, hotels, restaurants etc. This then took me into the arena of public speaking and gave me the opportunity to be on the PA panel at ACES 2014. I actually don’t have a laptop at home and conduct all my organising, social media and emailing through my iPhone.
