It’s not just me saying this either – in a survey conducted back 2013 in by the Office Team in the States. I would wait to be asked to work on projects or take on extra work – assuming if I worked hard in the back ground that eventually my dedication would be notice and rewarded. It certainly wasn’t doing my career any good.
