I reached into my pocket and grabbed my phone to call my dad. After graduating high school in 2008, I attended Saddleback Community College. It was nearly dark when I sprinted the 100 meter all-out. I let all my emotions seep out into my sprints. I thought, this is my first broken bone; this is what it must feel like.
