And as I was working, job hunting and/or temping, I had to find other sources of happiness. I would rather buy used books on half.com vs driving in Los Angeles traffic to go the library for free books. I knew I didn’t want to job hunt for more than 6-9 months if I didn’t have to. It also looks bad on one’s resume.
