The results led to our first “ Email etiquette ” story. The “oops” factor: If you need more than two paragraphs to cover your topic, you’re better off using the phone, or attaching a Word* file. Quick fix : Avoid using the numerical date reference, opting instead for a spelled-out month: December 10, 2012, or 12 October, 2012.
