As you view everything that has come across your desk whether they are phone calls, new assignments from your executive or your own project work: Assess all of it. Even though you are on vacation, you may meet people on the airplane or at a restaurant.

I also try to have a quick catch-up with the MD either by phone or face-to-face. On days where I’ve been too knackered after work to cook, for lunch the next day, I’d pop to one of many great restaurants near the office. There are some fab vietnamese restaurants – I’m partial to a kimchi banh mi. That it’s so varied.
