It is easy to negotiate on the price per night with a serviced apartment as they do tend to discount on block bookings. Some places do not have a reception or night porter and in these cases if there is a problem you are normally asked to phone a central number located away from the apartment. I would ask how long the temp status was for, and negotiate a deal that makes sense for you to not have sick days, paid holidays, benefits, etc. I’d see my co-worker and the spouse at the grocery store, at the local sushi restaurant, etc. But to me the length of the temp status wouldn’t change my answer most likely, and here’s why.
