The kids are in the house most of the day to stay out of the heat, eating me out of house and home, getting crumbs and grubby finders everywhere. Cleaning is a full-time job in itself! Lost power over the weekend due to severe thunderstorms (in fact our town got hit badly with the storm). Lost TV/Internet for four days, due to above storm. Had to rely on MiFi for a few days. Good News - 70, Not 80, is the New 65

Last year we posted on a study suggesting that many baby boomers were going to need to work until they were 80 to retire.  The reason, of course, is the impact of the Great Recession on baby boomer finances.   But according to the Center for Retirement at Boston College , most Boomers will only have to work until they are 70 to retire comfortably.  Their crunching of the data shows that if they wait until 70 to retire, 86% of Boomers will be able to do so comfortably.
